What are the signs and symptoms of the disease?

The features of achondroplasia are:

  • dwarfism
  • a large head with a prominent forehead
  • a low bridge of the nose
  • disproportionately short arms and legs
  • curvature of the spine, known as kyphosis
  • bowlegs
