What do the test results mean?
A special doctor called a radiologist analyzes the MRI images. Frequently, the MRI will help to better evaluate a disease or disorder affecting organs and blood vessels. MRI is particularly useful in evaluating the size and location of tumors, as well as bleeding at various clotting stages. The healthcare provider and the radiologist will use this information to help guide the next course of action for the individual's condition.
