(HealthDayNews) -- New Year''s resolutions seem as easy to break as they are to make. But the Mayo Clinic says you can make relatively small changes that can have a major impact on your health:
- Quit or cut down on things you know are bad for you, such as smoking or alcohol consumption.
- Cut your stress levels by identifying and changing the things that bother you. This can include simplifying your life, setting priorities, and just letting some things go.
- Set some time aside for yourself and the people and activities you enjoy.
- Schedule disease screening tests that are appropriate for someone of your age, sex, and level of risk.
