Health Tip: Don't Overschedule Your Kids

(HealthDay News) -- Too many extracurricular activities and playdates can make for overstressed children.

The Nemours Foundation says overscheduled kids may feel tired, depressed or anxious. They may also complain of headaches and stomachaches, resulting from stress and lack of sleep.

Schedule activities for your child in moderation. And set priorities to include family time and schoolwork. Above all, learn to say no when your child insists on taking up more activities than he or she can handle.
