Health Tip: Keep Man's Best Friend Safe

(HealthDay News) -- Did you know that chocolate can harm or even kill your dog? Although humans love it, it''s toxic to your pet.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends that you keep other household items out of your dog''s reach, including plants such as poinsettias, ferns and philodendrons. All are poisonous.

Also hazardous are car and outdoor products such as antifreeze, windshield cleaners, weed killers, used motor oil and insecticides.
