Spanish Fertility Site Launched

WEDNESDAY, Aug. 2 (HealthDay News) -- There''s a new Web site that provides information about infertility issues to Spanish-speaking Americans who are struggling to have a baby.

The Fertility Journey site includes topics such as: testing and diagnosis; medical treatment coverage; financial planning; therapeutic options; how to find a clinic; and coping with difficult conceptions.

The Spanish-language site is a companion site to the English-language Fertility Journey that was launched in 2005. The sites are sponsored by Organon, a company involved in fertility research and treatment.

There are millions of American couples who have trouble conceiving, including hundreds of thousands of people who don''t speak English as their primary language. This kind of language barrier can add stress and uncertainty to an already difficult situation.

The new Fertility Journey site is designed to meet a growing demand for accurate, accessible information in Spanish, according to a news release.
